"Hey Mandy, you ready?" Chris asked.
Mandy was going to an audition for a contest. The winner gets a record deal with Jive records and gets to be a popstar. Chris has always been there for her
"CHRIS, I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD GO"
He slapped the back of her head. "Stop that Mandy, your a great singer , you know that.''
She looked at him "I'm sorry, im just having second thoughts about this."
Chris hugged her "You're going to do great, stop worrying"
He opened his passenger door for her, she hopped in and they were on their way.
When they got there, Mandy's voice was already warmed up, because she was singing in the car. Chris noticed how nervous she was and gave her one last hug.
"Do you want me to go in with you?" Chris asked.
"Would you?'' she said in a wisper.
"Of course."
She smiled at him. "Lets go!"
When it was her turn she was ready.
"You're going to do awesome!"
She nodded "I know."
"He laughed "I think I like you better this way."
She hit him and then ran into the room were the judges were sitting.
"Hi my name is Mandy and, and i will be singing a song called "Hero" by Mariah Carey"
Mandy was nervous at first and started up slowly, but as the song went on her confidence built up more and her voice quickly became stronger and stronger. When the judges heard her voice they thought it was so spactacular and so emotional. The song came to a close and Mandy stood still, anxiously awaiting the judges comments.
"Thank you for auditioning, we will call you as soon as we figure out who won."
The other judge smiled big, "Between all three of us , I think you will be getting a call very soon."
Mandy smiled bright "Thank you very much!"
"Hey, you were great! I heard you sing the whole song , and i heard what the judges said. You are so getting that call!"
She smiled and hugged him, then she cryed even harder
"My dream is comming true!...Chris?" He looked at her "Thank you"
He looked at her confused. "For what?"
She smiled. "For helping me get my faith and confidence back."
He smiled That's what best friends are for."
She smiled and hugged him "Friends forever?"
"Friends forever!"
They both lived a happy life being true friends. Mandy got the call and got the record deal with Jive records. She got to tour with *NSYNC and quickly gained popularity. Now she is on her way to becoming a great pop star.
