FuMan Skeeto was formed in 1999 by Chris Kirkpatrick during a break from the *NSYNC schedule which he found to be almost too relaxing: "I'm the type of person who can't sit still, so I basically said I wanted to do something else." That 'something else' turned out to be a creative arts and media company, based around a "Be Positive (B+)" theme, that specialised in clothing design, music production and the visual arts.

The name FuMan Skeeto came about when Chris saw a mosquito sitting on one of his braids (he had just had them cut off). Chris says it made it look like the mosquito had a Fu Man Chu mustache, so he yelled out "Look, it's a FuMan Skeeto!" and the name just stuck.

FuMan Skeeto's mission was to express through its products a positive and uplifting message (believe in your dreams), to inspire those with aims to excel beyond what their immediate circumstances and capabilities allow.

FuMan Skeeto may no longer be around, but its inspirational messages of 'Believe in your dreams' and 'B+' will stay here for a long time.
