Founded in 2001, The Justin Timberlake Foundation's mission is to promote music education as an essential part of a child's development. The Foundation works to encourage people to become advocates on behalf of this important cause.
Justin says "The Justin Timberlake Foundation is a foundation that helps with music education in schools. When I was growing up, there wasn't a music program, so I decided to create this program for kids who might want to sing like I do but don't have a music program."
In 2002, The Justin Timberlake Foundation partnered with the American Music Conference (AMC), whose mission is to promote the importance of music, music making, and music education to the public.
