Birthday Surprises

Michaela, this being her 19^th birthday, got two tickets and backstage passes to *NSYNC. She decided to share the best day of her life with her best friend and childhood neighbor, Cassie Smith. She called her and she said yes. They would meet *NSYNC, together.

*TWO DAYS LATER*
Today was the day they were leaving to go to the concert in Kansas City, MO. Tomorrow is the day they were going to meet their favorite *NSYNC members, Lance and JC. They couldn’t wait. They began to unpack the minute they got to the Holiday Inn. They unpacked their dinner clothes and went out to the Outback Steakhouse to eat. They both ordered and began to talk about what the concert might be like.
“I hope they sing Space Cowboy!” Cassie exclaimed.
“I hope they sing It Makes Me Ill,” said Michaela.
“Do you think when we meet them we’ll be able to speak?” questioned Cassie.
“I hope we can, I have so much to tell and ask Lance,” explained Michaela.
At this time their food had come and they began to eat.

*NEXT DAY 6:30 PM*
“This is so exciting!” They both exclaimed at the same time.
First off they were Front Row Center, then added on to that they had Backstage Passes. They had come an hour early to find their seats, to buy some food, and to buy t-shirts or some other type of souvenir.
They sat down just as *NSYNC walked out. They both stood up and SCREAMED!! Then as they started to sing “This I Promise You” Lance came over and began to sing to Michaela. This really was the best day of her life.
Then during “God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You” JC began to sing to Cassie, they both had got what they wanted, but more was still to come.

*AFTER CONCERT*
They began to head backstage, still in awe that JC and Lance had come to sing to them and now they would meet them.
“Cassie, is this really happening?” asked Michaela.
“Yes, I think it is,” said Cassie.
They handed the guard the backstage passes and walked in. They both had their framed pictures of the guys and all their CDs in Michaela’s backpack. Michaela was a little bit shyer than her best friend was apparently because Cassie walked right up to JC and began to talk to him. The guys all had girls talking to them, all except Lance, who walked over to Michaela.
“Hi, I know you, you’re the one I sang to,” Lance said.
“Yeah, that was me, I’m Michaela, by the way,” Michaela said.
They talked for a really long time; it was easier to talk to Lance than she had thought it would be.

*MEANWHILE*
“Hi, I’m Cassie,” Cassie said as she walked over to JC.
“I’m, well you know who I am,” JC said laughing.
“Yeah, I do,” said Cassie.
“You’re the one I sang to!” exclaimed JC.
She also found it to be incredibly easy to talk to JC. They also talked for a long time.

*BACK TO MICHAELA AND LANCE*
“Would you like to go get something to eat?” asked Lance.
“Sure,” Michaela said.
“Okay, but we’ll have to sneak away,” Lance told her.
“Wait, I have to go tell Cassie,” Michaela replied.
“Who?” Lance questioned.
“My best friend, she’s talking to JC,” Michaela answered.
Ironically JC had just asked Cassie the same thing and was on her way to tell Michaela when…THUD, they ran into each other.
“I’m going out with JC,” said Cassie.
“I’m going out with Lance,” said Michaela.
By this time the boys had already began to talk and decided to double. This really was the best day of their lives.
“We’re doubling girls,” Lance said.
“You can calm down now,” JC said.
“Okay,” Cassie said as JC helped her up.
“Fine,” Michaela said as Lance did the same for her.
“Now to sneak away from the guards and the other guys,” JC said as he looked to Lance for help.
“We go out on stage and jump down into the seats and avoid all guards till we get to Cassie’s car,” Lance said without thinking.
“You’ve done this before haven’t you,” JC said.
“Yeah, but, never with a girl, just by myself,” Lance explained.

*AT THE RESTAURANT*
“How long will you girls be here?” asked JC.
“About a week,” said Michaela.
“Us too, because this was the last concert till late August,” said Lance.
After this JC and Cassie had moved to a different table.
“I know we just met, but I feel like I’ve known you my entire life,” JC said.
“Me too,” Cassie said.
“I thought you’d feel that way, that’s why I wanted to ask you to go out with me again tomorrow night,” JC explained.
“Absolutely,” Cassie answered.
Lance was asking Michaela out again also, she said yes too.

*NEXT NIGHT 7:00 PM*
This was incredible, they were both now going on a second date with the two nicest people on the planet. This date was going to be perfect. Especially since they were surprises. Little did they know that this was the night they would be asked to change their entire lives.
JC and Cassie went into the woods to enjoy a romantic picnic, while Lance and Michaela went up in a private jet and flew over the woods.

*LANCE AND MICHAELA*
“I was wondering, would you come on tour with me?” asked Lance.
“Yes, absolutely,” Michaela answered.
“Great, but I can’t live without you till late August,” Lance said.
“I’ll move to Orlando then, go to college there,” Michaela said.
“Okay, it’s settled then,” said Lance excitedly.

*JC AND CASSIE*
“Will you go on tour with me?” JC asked.
“What, sure,” Cassie said.
“Then, it’s going to be the best tour,” JC said.
“I can’t wait till late August to be with you,” Cassie said sadly.
“Move to Orlando,” JC said.
“Alright I will,” Cassie said.

*END OF WEEK*
The girls were leaving to pack up the rest of their stuff and move to Orlando. They would be away from the guys for a week.
“I love you, JC,” Cassie said as she got into her car.
“I love you, too, Babe,” JC said as he kissed her cheek
“I love you, Micky,” Lance said as he opened her car door.
“I love you, too, James,” Michaela said as she blew him a kiss through her open car door.
As the girls drove home to Nebraska all they could think and talk about was JC and Lance. They both now had their Prince Charming and life was perfect.
